Bugle
Bugle
Ajuga reptans
A brilliant low-growing perennial wildflower sends out runners to produce great groundcover. It is widespread and often seen on woodland rides, some grasslands and generally shadier spots. It produces violet blue flowers that are bugle-shaped and sit in between leaves, forming and alternating leaf flower structure. It is popular amongst all pollinators and provides a great early nectar source.
