This low-growing, creeping perennial thrives in wetter areas and can be found on riverbanks, pond edges, wet grasslands and in damp woodlands. It has distinctive heart shaped leaves that grow in opposite pairs along its trailing stems and produces elegant cup-shaped yellow flowers. A popular visit for pollinators.
