Another perennial herb which has a nice aroma. It is found in dry grasslands, roadside verges, sometimes sand dunes and most frequently on calcareous soils. It produces dense pale pink and crimson flowerheads which branch from the stem. A popular visit for pollinators, especially butterflies.
