This perennial wildflower is often seen on roadside verges and amongst hedgerows. Its leaves are sessile and opposite. It produces lovely soft pink flowers which are five-petalled and can sometimes be double. It is loved by pollinators and emits a lovely aroma in the evening, calling out to many moths.
