This perennial wildflower was once widespread on calcareous grasslands but is now extremely rare in the wild. Its leaves are renowned for their aroma and are basal, slightly toothed and form a rosette. It produces brilliant, deep-violet flowers which are adored by pollinators and especially bees. A great addition for a pollinator wildflower garden.
