This wonderful perennial wildflower is more likely to be found in gardens than in the wild but can be seen growing on dry soils such as chalk and limestone grasslands and coastal cliffs. It has a very narrow spread of branching stems and leaves which support stunning, five-petalled, bright pink flowers with serrated petal edges. It is loved by pollinators and makes for a great addition to a garden rockery.
