Stellaria graminea
This creeping perennial is found growing in woodlands, grasslands as well as verges and hedgerows. It has a wiry, scraggy appearance and can form short clumps in grassland. Its leaves resemble grass somewhat and its square stems support dainty, deeply notched, five-petalled white flowers. Its long flowering period makes it a popular visit for a range of pollinators.
